Lihua Agricultural Ecological Park, invested by Huai’an Zhongheng Real Estate Development Company, covers Lianwu Village, Shengli Village and Nongke Village in Luowei Township, with an area of 1,500 mu. The project began in March 2011 and was finished in June 2012 with a total investment of 130 million RMB. Now it includes the pig farm, the feed mill, the methane power plant, the greenhouse vegetable base, the technology tourism park, the intelligent greenhouse, the orchard, the eco-restaurant, the Hui-style hotels, the urban vegetable direct-sale store, Liannong Fast Food, the tile factory and testing rooms and other projects. Meanwhile, it has sound park roads and water supply and drainage systems, power protection systems, ground source heat pump (air conditioning) systems, logistics systems, radio systems, green squares and parking lots and etc.

Aimed at realizing ecological, recycling, organic and efficient agriculture, the Park focuses on developing recycling agricultural production of “pig - biogas - vegetable”. Currently, with recycling resources and zero pollution release, the Park basically achieves an ideal agriculture production pattern of a circular utilization of resources and sustainable development. Mr. Luo Zhijun, Secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPC, and Ms. Huang Lixin, member of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPC, Deputy Governor of Jiangsu Province, Secretary of Wuxi Municipal Committee of the CPC, and other leaders repeatedly inspected here, and fully affirmed the recycling agriculture development pattern. The Company is also committed to the development of tourism industry and Lihua Agriculture has been approved as provincial four-star rural tourism area at the beginning of this year.
