The Pollution-free Vegetable Base, located in Caiji Town, Sucheng District, was founded by Rijk Zwaan and three farmers’ cooperatives in June 2007, with the existing greenhouse vegetable area and nursery centers of more than 2,000 mu and 3,000 greenhouses. The Base is equipped with offices, technical training centers, logistics centers and other supporting facilities. Strawberries, peppers, eggplant, cucumber, watermelon, cherry tomatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms and more than 30 kinds of pollution-free fruits and vegetables are planted here. Winter and spring visiting is recommended here with distinctive projects of fruit and vegetable trade and picking and technology exchanges. The Base is open for free all year round.
