Tax Policies

1. VAT. For industrial production enterprises settling in the development zone, VAT retained by the level below municipality will be totally awarded to these enterprises in the first two years and in half in the next three years ( In line with the present financial system, VAT retained is 20% of the total tax). Levy before award is implemented.

2. Corporate Income Tax. For industrial production enterprises with above 10 years’ operating period (including 10 years) in the development zone, the corporate income tax retained will be totally awarded by the financial departments of the same level to these enterprises in the first five profit-making years and in half in the next five years (In line with the present financial system, the corporate income tax retained is 32% of the total tax). Levy before award is implemented.

3. Business Tax. For industrial production enterprises settling in the development zone, 25% of the business tax retained by the level below municipality will be awarded to these enterprises in the first five years and in half in the next three years ( In line with the present financial system, the business tax retained is 80% of the total tax). Levy before award is implemented.

4. Property Tax. Office buildings and workshops shall be self-built or purchased by industrial production enterprises settling in the development zone, the actual property tax and city property tax retained by the level below municipality will be fully returned to these enterprises in the first five years (In line with the present financial system, property tax and city property tax retained is 80% of the total tax). Levy before award is implemented.

5. Administrative Fees. All administrative fees for construction within the municipality are exempted. Operational service fees will be charged according to the lowest standard.
